GET INVOLVED!

We are always looking to widen the circle of our community and there are many different ways to be involved in our community life. Some are very hands on and others are more removed; all are equally important!

Come make a connection with a core member and become a regular volunteer, by coming once a week, once a month or however best fits the home and your schedule. Regular volunteers do special activities inside and outside of the home with core members such as reading, playing games, going to church, taking a walk, visiting the museums/attractions in our area or getting coffee.

Come and help cook at meal time, for a special event or delight the community with a special weekend breakfast/brunch. You can either use our kitchen and involve the core members or drop off a dish or meal. We can always use people to help cook for special events, spiritual life nights, and celebrations.

Share your gifts/skills such as gardening, house cleaning, art, music, carpentry, plumbing, reading or any other professional services.

If you have the drive and the resources host an event to raise awareness about adults with disabilities and L'Arche. Partner with us and help us raise funds for our community expansion.

Create an outside activity for the community. We love picnics, swimming, and trips to farms or make your own suggestions based on your hobbies and talents.

Come and volunteer with our craft program to help create pottery and candles that we sell through out the community.

Organize a Dinner Party to benefit L’Arche at your home. Have your friends come and share a meal with you in honor of L’Arche. Make it a special night where you are able to introduce L’Arche to your friends and family.
